October 28, 2016

One of the master-pieces of the Nobel Prize winner, Harold Pinter, “The Homecoming” returned this week in “Kujtim Spahivogli” Experimental Theater stage. This piece, that comes for the capital’s art-lovers under the direction of Carlo Sciaccaluga and through the performance of an wonderful cast of actors like Myzafer Zifle, Alert Çeloaliaj, Genci Fuga, Ersela Pysqyli, Flor Veizi and Kristian Koroveshi, conveys great emotions to the public.

“The Homecoming” is a theatrical piece where the author drags us into a world where the cruel intimacy and the dynamics of power within the family astonish and disgust us at the same time. But is this sense of disgust that reminds us that we are looking at ourselves in the mirror.

The Italian director, Sciaccaluga narrates that this piece conveys some messages. The most important is that of the women’s emancipation.

“This theatrical piece text makes us part of a males house, while communicating with the public over the woman’s emancipation in the society. “The Return Home” is a piece with a very difficult language, but the actors managed to perfectly adapt themselves in this great writer drama,” said Sciaccaluga.
