Turkey, Albania’s Close Friend and Important Partner

Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati paid a two-day official visit to Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu. During their bilateral meeting two counterparts praised the excellent cooperation between the two countries in all fields and levels. 

“Albania highly praises the comprehensive relations with Turkey, considering this country a close friend, important regional partner and a NATO ally,” underlined Bushati.

He stressed that both countries share the same attitude over regional issues, as the further recognition and inclusion of Kosovo in all processes of regional cooperation and its membership in international organizations.
