
Armed Forces and 500 students of vocational education became part of a large scale campaign initiated by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth (MSWY) for planting 5,000 thousand trees in Kruja mountain. Activity "Let’s do small things with great love" took place on Mother Teresa beatification day aiming to promote youth volunteerism and involvement in national greening campaign in Albania initiated by the MSWY.
Speaking to journalists the Defense Minister, Mimi Kodheli considered Mother Teresa beatification day as the right moment and the right day with the right people to deliver a message to all the young generation, Albanians and Albania.
“The professional schools and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania with the support of the extraordinary support of the international community and the business have the necessary capacities to achieve a unique work of its kind, a forest named Mother Teresa,” said Kodheli.
Meanwhile the Minister of Youth and Social Welfare, Blendi Klosi underlined the uniqueness of this day stressing that youth vocational education, together with many young men from the Albanian Army are planting an entire forest, which will symbolically baptized “Mother Teresa Park”.
