The Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli conducted a series of bilateral meetings on Wednesday with the Italian and Turkish counterparts during the European Defense Ministerial, (SEDM).

During a bilateral meeting with the Italian counterpart, Roberta Pinotti she underlined the Albania’s gratitude for the valuable support given by Italy to the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF).

Kodheli also praised the excellent relations between two countries stressing the necessity for collaboration in the defense sector strengthening.

Meanwhile the meeting with her Turkish counterpart, Fikri I??k focused on two countries excellent collaboration in the military aspect. Kodheli underlined the importance of this collaboration on view of the new challenges that lay ahead these two NATO member countries.
