
The Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Management (MARDWM) disclosed on Wednesday the latest data over the floods situation in Lezha. According to MARDWM around 350 hectares of land are still flooded in Zadrima, 350 hectares in Torovica, and around 150 hectares in Zejmen-Barbulloje due to the last night massive rainfalls.
The water-pumps are operating with full capacity aiming to prevent water’s expansion in the surrounding areas. MARDWM informs the public opinion that the situation is being continuously monitored aiming to prevent any possible escalation. Precautionary measures for a possible evacuation of the inhabitants have been already taken.
