October 13, 2016

Few days after the publication of the report criticizing the Prosecution’s work, the Prosecution of Serious Crimes has summoned representatives of Pameca 4 for damaging investigations.

Sources said that Pameca’s representatives have had a meeting with the head Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Besim Hajdarmataj because this report is considered intervention in the investigation of concrete files, as mentioned in the report, the case of IMSI Catcher, Emiljano Shullazi and Elvis Rroshi.

It has been learned that Hajdarmataj said that the report has damaged the image of the institution in the eyes of the public.

Meantime, the representatives of Pameca 4 said that, in their report criticizing the prosecution, they referred to the stances of the media.

Pameca’s report underlined that the request for the suspension of the General Director of State Police, Haki Cako was based on distrust and suspicions, because there was no evidence that the IMSI Catcher was able to make tapping.

Moreover, the work of the prosecution was criticized regarding the investigation on Emiljano Shullazi, Mayor of Kavaja Elvis Rroshi and Arben Frroku.

Pameca said that the investigation on Shullazi was not a profound one.
