Minister of Environmental, Lefter Koka, denounced on Friday that some municipalities in Albania continues to give to the companies exploitation permits violating forest moratorium. 

Without giving any further details Koka said that if the situation continues criminal charges will be applied against these mayors.

"Some mayors continue to give permits on forest exploitation against the law. They do not take seriously forest administration. They have not provided funds for forests, only for streets and concrete," said Koka.
