Rama Reacts on DP Requests for Electronic Voting and Counting

‘Electronic voting and counting process is new alibi of the old government’. 

This was the reaction of the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, on Friday on the debate for the requests of the opposition to apply electronic voting and counting during the next Parliamentary Elections to be held on June 18.

He gives a final answer to all DP requests on this issue: Government cannot agree with this adventure which has a known end: the failure of the electoral process!

“We need and international expertise to fact and guarantee that this process, the electronic process will work. If the Central Election Commission (CEC) will have a serious offer and it can secure also the positive opinion of the OSCE/ODIHR, then why not?” said Rama.
