An Albanian and two Kosovo citizens were arrested in flagrance on Sunday by Shkodra police while trying to smuggle a quantity of narcotics through Murriqan border-crossing. Ekrem Bujovci, 34, Dukagjin Lyta, 48, and Edmond Mulgeci, 57 were found in possession of 20 kg og narcotics.

The drugs quantity had been hidden in their bus platted 07 183 CE traveling from Kosovo to Germany. A minute inspection of the travelers’ bags unveiled the cannabis sativa quantity leading to the arrest in flagrance of three individuals.

They will be prosecuted for drugs possession and attempted smuggling. Meanwhile prosecution’s inquiry for a full clarification of the narcotics origin and destination is still ongoing.
