Kukesi and Dibra are the most affected cities from the ice and snowfalls. Friday morning these two cities were completely isolated due to the heavy snowfalls during the night. Roads in Burrel, Qafe Buall and Bulqize are blocked. 

Police urged to all citizens to completely avoid these roads because the weather is expected to be worse during the day.

Same situation was reported in Kukes. Whole city was blocked and it is even without electricity. Energy Power Distribution Operator (OSHEE) informed that they are working to repair the defects and restore the electricity as soon as possible. 

One of its employees, the line specialist Ramadan Hallaçi, 57 experienced hypothermia while trying to restore the electricity in this city. Last night he was on duty in Kukes, where he repaired the 110 kV line Kalimash - Kukes damaged by snow and he continued working for the rest of the line, over 20 km long. After more than 7 hours of work in a difficult terrain with a temperature -9 C he experienced hypothermia. He is currently being treated in hospital in Kukes and is out of danger.
