The Albanian Foreign Ministry disproved through a press release issued on Monday the rumors for Albanian victims among those killed during a terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Earlier some Albanian media reported that an Albanian had been killed while two more had been injured during this attack.

Foreign Ministry statement is based on Turkish authorities’ official reports that mention no Albanians among the victims of this terrorist act.

39 people remained killed while 69 were injured on the New Year’s night when a armed men opened fire against those celebrating the arrival of 2017 in Istanbul.
