The Albanian movies soundtracks, a forgotten part of the Albanian music golden archive, will be brought back in a gala event organized for the first time by the Albanian Radio Television (RTSH) in collaboration with the RTSH orchestra, the Albanian Central Film Archive and the National Center of Cinematography.

This gala event, titled “Thanks for the music”, not only brings back to the music-lovers some of the most beloved soundtracks, but is also an appreciation for the composers. The best creations of Çesk Zadeja, Feim Ibraimi, Kujtim Laro, Aleksandër Lalo, Aleksandër Peçi, Limos Dizdari, Agim Krajka and Hajg Zaharjan will be the key elements of this event which aim to lay the basis for a tradition that may give new value to the Albanian movie soundtrack. 

Despite the fact that the choice was difficult 18 soundtracks will be presented in a completely new form. They will be re-edited and re-orchestrated in a new version adding value to the original creation. This gala event will be televised on January 1, 2017 raising the curtains of a new year with some of the most beautiful pieces of Albanian music.
