Last Saturday at the premises of Tirana International hotel the Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the annual CCI Awards ceremony, where businesses in Albania are awarded for the best performance in different sectors.

This year, some more than 15 companies received the awards as a prize for their performance and contribution in the business community in Albania.

Metropolitan University, represented by Arjan Cukaj received CCI AWARD 2016 for building a high-quality university, while Albas Sh.p.k received the award as guarantor of the increased reliability on the market, by bringing modern methods.

One of the most important prizes of the ceremony, that of the innovation, went to Digicom, for the providing of FTTH communication services such as Internet, Fixed Phone, and IPTV, end to end. 

"Innovation has been part of the human nature since the beginning of time, and Digicom is innovative not only in its technology, but also in the business practices it adopts, the employee's approach to the work, and naturally in the customer experience it provides,"- said Marin Gjonaj, CEO and Co-Founder of the company.

"We are committed in bringing optic fiber to every home, and the experience of FTTH enabled services to every family, a challenge yet to be confronted by the most technology advanced countries in the west, and a milestone of the Digital Agenda for Europe"- added Gjonaj.

And the highlight of the award ceremony culminated with a symbolic prize, for the Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erjon Veliaj. Chamber of Commerce and Industry donated to Veliaj a symbolic key, a gift he usually donates for special guests and personalities in name of Tirana Municipality.
