State Police continued even Sunday operation for the capture of Klement Balili known as "Drug's Baron in Western Balkans".

Police sources informed albaniannews.com that operation continues and 200 police forces are controlling all places where Balili can be, but they failed until now.

They have controlled even his house but they did not find any trace of Balili, besides two shoot guns.

Balili’s assets are part of an inquiry by the Serious Crimes Court following the arrival in Albania of a 10.000 pages file by Greece. The inquirers will act in accordance to the Anti-Mafia law verified the former-officials assets in Saranda. He is officially charged of narcotics trafficking in Greece along with Albanians already arrested by the police.

Balili, defined by the Greek authorities as the “Western Balkans Escobar’ owns the luxury resort ‘Santa Quaranta’ located in Saranda.
