Over 1.5 ton cannabis sativa was seized early on Saturday and three Albanians were arrested. This was the result of a raid conducted by the Guardia di Finanzia aero-naval units local media report.

A ten-meter long speedboat was stopped by the Italian police following a signal given by the Albanian authorities. 1.5 ton cannabis sativa with a total value of over Euro 15 million, was found on board of the speedboat. 

Three Albanians, respectively 26, 24 and 42 years old, were arrested in flagrance by the Italian police. Their identity has not yet been unveiled due to the inquiry’s secrecy.
