Two ‘Equal List’ (LIBRA) MPs, Ben Blushi and Mimoza Hafizi submitted to the Assembly on Wednesday a legal initiative related to the minimum living wage. They suggest a number of amendments in the draft law for social welfare and services urging the state to calculate the minimum living wage. 

“Minimum living wage represents the incomes dimension converted in the sum of money needed for each person to ensure him the minimal living conditions. The most crucial element of the minimum living wage is the right to be fed, a constitutional and basic right of the life,” declared Hafizi during a pronunciation for the journalists.

European states like Franca, Italy or Germany are acquainted with their citizens’ minimum living wage. Even Western Balkans countries like Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia etc known and publicly declare this figure.
