American Ambassador Donald Lu underlined again on Wednesday that the Vetting Law will fight corruption in Albania.

Saying so, he addressed another appeal to all the politicians to unblock this law’s implementation. Present in a symposium again corruption, Lu added that this phenomenon in Albania cannot be fight by the foreigners but by courageous prosecutors and journalists.

“Corruption cannot be fight by foreigners, but from courageous prosecutors and journalists. How may be fought corruption in Albania? Fighting starts with the implementation of Vetting Law. You need to build a new in depended system where any politicians or judge cannot be affected and manipulated,” said Lu.
