First Classes in Albanian Language Opened in Arta & Atika

The Albanian emigrants’ children in Arta and Atika will from now on have the chance to learn their parent’s native language. Albanian Teachers in Greece Union (ATGU) chairwoman, Anila Kila, announced this joyful news. 

She expressed her gratitude to the local authorities of these cities for granting permission for these courses in Albanian language. Kilaj also thanked the Albanian teachers committed toward this great mission. 

“It is with an immense joy that I inform you that Albanian language courses will from now be conducted in Public School Nr. 1 in Spata of Atika. Teachers’ serious work and the extensive work done by ATGU gained the local authorities trust clearing the path to this important step,” said Kilaj.

According to her the Albanian language courses in these cities will promote the country’s culture and traditions.
