‘White Night 2016’ will be celebrated with a multitude of activities in Tirana, including exhibitions, operas, movies, and concerts ‘till early morning hours. A detailed plan has been already drafted by the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with Tirana City Hall aiming the transformation of the capital’s different spaces into temporary exhibitions.
“104th Anniversary Independence” exhibition will be opened in the National Museum Hall bringing to the visitors the historic pen used by Ismail Qemali during the independence declaration signature, original pictures of that period of time, and other materials related to the birth of Albanian state.
National Arts Gallery (NAG) will open its gates since 18:00 until 02:00 welcoming the art-lovers.
A series of activities have been also foreseen for the children, including puppets shows and animated movies. Meanwhile National Circus will present them with the premiere of “Flintstones”
Some 50 artists, acrobats and dancers will perform in the pedestrian alley close to the NAG. The celebrations apex will be the performance of the known Italian singer, Giussy Ferreri in a concert that will take place in “Mother Teresa” square.
