Global Wealth Report - 73.3% of the Albanians Are Poor

Most of the Albanians are poor. According to the report for the global wealth results that 73.3% of the Albanians are poor with a wealth under USD 10.000. 26% of them have a wealth ranging from US 10.000 to 100.000.

Comparing to the other region countries, Albania seems to have the lowest percentage of the millionaires as Serbia with 0.5%.

Meanwhile in Macedonia this percentage is 0,8%, Bosnia 1%, Bulgaria 1.5%, Montenegro 2% and Croatia 2.6%.

According to Global Wealth Report for 2016, released by Credit Swiss, total assets of the Albanians is USD 21 billion. Albanian property for any adult age is about USD 9200 and Albanian adult wealth is much lower than the world average of about USD 52.8 thousand and one of the lowest in the region, leaving behind only Serbia.
