November 20, 2016

Confindustria raised the concern over the obstruction by Serbia of the interconnection line between Albania and Kosovo utilization. Through a press statement released on Sunday Confindustria urges the Albania’s and Kosovo authorities to assess without further delays an action plan for the overcoming of the current situation. This action plan should foresee diplomatic steps and mutual actions, up to commercial sanctions toward Serbia.

Interconnection line between Albania and Kosovo has a cost of around Euro 70 million and is perfectly functional. Confindustria stresses that any delay in this important line utilization generates severe economic consequences for Albania and Kosovo.
