State Police wages will become subject of increase since March 1, 2017 reaching region’s highest level. This declaration was made by Prime Minister, Edi Rama on Monday during the presentation of “The New Generation Police” project.
“Budget of 2017 foresees the police wages increase since March 1. Your wages will than reach the region’s highest level,” declared the government’s chief.
He underlined that government’s main ambition is to transform the Albanian police into one of the most qualitative in European Union.
“We are determined to proceed toward an objective, with the certitude that this is totally within our possibility,” declared PM Rama.
Meanwhile the Interior Minister, Sajmir Tahiri considered the Albanian police a history of success, with the necessary capacities to cope with every challenge.
