A documentary movie dedicated to the life and work of the known writer, Dritero Agolli was screened in the main hall of the National Historic Museum in Tirana. This documentary, titled “Our Dritero”, has been realized on occasion of the 85th birth anniversary of the beloved writer.

The entire realization process was directed by Ilia Terpini and was based on the script of Vllasova Musta. Researcher Moikom Zeqo played the role of consultant during the preparatory process.

This documentary focuses on several critical moments of Dritero Agolli’s life while including also the numerous difficulties and dramas of his personal life. A large part of his life is narrated by the spouse, Sadije Agolli.

The writer meeting with his son, Arjan, born during his first marriage in Russia, is a very touching moment of this documentary.

Special attention was given to the time when Dritëro was the chairman of the Union of Writers and Artists.

This documentary was realized thanks to the support given by the Russian Embassy in Tirana in collaboration with “Devolli” Association.
