The Republican Party chair, Fatmir Mediu conducted a meeting on Wednesday with this political force structures in Tirana. The preparatory process at the eve of the electoral campaign for next year parliamentary elections was the main topic of this meeting. 

“The political debate should be part of the daily work of the Republican Party structures, to convey our message, but also to identify the authorities and political figures that represent us in the best way among voters,” said Mediu.

Referring to the Electoral Reform he underlines the urgent necessity for this process completion, as a key element for a fair and free electoral process.

“The financial profits and the electoral crime are the sole priorities of Prime Minister, Edi Rama. This fact became more than clear during the local election in Dibra. Thus, the Electoral Reform is the most important for the country. The fact that Socialist Party obstructs this process is a clear indicator of the tendency toward manipulation. No fair and free elections may take place while the citizens’ vote and freedom are infringed,” said Mediu.
