“The Italian Language in the World Week’ 16-th edition raised the curtains in the stone city of Gjirokastra. ‘Eqerem Çabej” University, the only public university center in Southern Albania, was chosen as the facility where a number of promoting activities will take place until October 23. 

According to the Italy’s Honorary Consul in Gjirokastra, Teodor Bilushi, the long line of activities will also be dedicated to the Italian creativity and different trade-marks in the fashion and design sectors. 

‘The Italian Language and Culture Week’ opened with ‘Il giovane favoloso” movie, directed by Mario Marton, and will continue with a multitude of activities. 

This is an event that promotes the Italian as a classical culture language and is organized every year by the cultural and diplomatic network of the Italian Foreign Ministry. This activity was organized for the first time 15 years ago.
