Powerful Earthquake in Southern Albania, No Damages Reported

A powerful earthquake with a preliminary magnitude 5.3 was registered late on Saturday in Southern Albania. Its epicenter was near to Ioannina in Greece, very close to the border with Albania.

Fortunately no damages were reported in any city although the tremors were very strong. Meanwhile across northern Greece late on Saturday evening had frequent shaking earthquake, but the strongest was that close to Ioannina.
