The known Albanian actor, Mirush Kabashi astonished the Swiss public last weekend with his performance of ‘Socrates True Apology’. Kabashi excellent performance of this beautiful monodrama written by the Greek author Kostas Varnalis in “Theatre De La Madeleine” stunned the public.

His rare mastery in performing this shocking monologue impressed the Swiss public. Dressed with a torn out mantel, a wig and long fake beard, Kabashi used his voice to resuscitate Socrates nearly 2500 years after his death.

This marvelous monodrama, that comes out from the depths of centuries, makes Kabashi an unique character in the acting art, while transmitting Socrates’ messages to the people through the power of speech.

‘Socrates True Apology’ is among the favorite monodramas of the known Albanian actor. He was awarded the international “Golden Sphinx” prize in Kairo for his marvelous performance of this difficult role.
