The effective of the Regional Directorate of Border and Migration in Durres gave a blow to the licensed good smuggling on Saturday late evening hours. A quantity of “Diazepam” was seized during this raid, while a person was arrested in flagrance. Arsim Gashi, an 43-years old Albanian with Norwegian citizenship, was arrested by the police.
The medicament's quantity was discovered at the end of a minute inspection of Gashi’s ‘Ford” vehicle. A total of 3 030 tablets and 45.450 pills of Diazepam were found hidden in the vehicle’s rear bump.
Gashi will now be prosecuted on charges of licenses good smuggling attempt.
