
The 'Marubi Dynasty – 100 Year of Albanian Photo-Studio' exhibition opening in Amsterdam has suscitated great interest in some of the world’s most prestigious media. This time it was the turn of the prestigious British television “BBC” to present a video-collection called “Marubi Photographs: A portrait of Albania” in the official website. This video-collection included some of the most meaningful pictures of known photographers.
BBC video-collection is accompanied by a brief description of the Marubi Dynasty and the pictures exposed in Amsterdam.
“A few years after the photography’s invention an Italian opened a photo-studio in Shkodra. Now an exhibition with pictures realized by three different generations has been opened in Foam premises, a photography museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands,” said BBC.
Kim Knoppers is the curator of the ‘Marubi Dynasty-100 Years of Albanian Photo-Studio’, said to the BBC journalist, Dan Damon that these pictures represent the rich cultural and historical history of this country.
