Speaking to journalists on Wednesday over the imminent NATO Summit in Warsaw the Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli stressed Albania’s support for the open gates policy. She underlined that Albania will strongly support Kosovo adhesion into NATO.
“60 delegations attending the Warsaw summit will discuss over the right approach toward the risk coming from the East. We have always been careful listeners our partners and strong supporters of the opens gates policy. Albania will strongly support Kosovo and Montenegro adhesion into NATO” said Kodheli.
She underlined that NATO - Serbia relation as a country willing to cooperate without aiming the adhesion will also be among the main topics.
