Ben Blushi’s presence during a meeting of the Socialist Party in Elbasan was accompanied by jeers and shouts toward him. Socialist lawmaker, Blushi used the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama in this meeting to address him directly in relation to the leadership election.

“You should explain to those people your refusal to be voted,” said Blushi addressing to Prime Minister Rama. But Blushi’s speech generated jeers and shouts from the socialists that demanded his expulsion from this meeting.

“Those that once upon a time jeered on Berisha were present today. Socialist Party is not a private asset” said Blushi reacting to the voices against him. At the end of the meeting, he was accompanied outside from guards in order to prevent any physical intervention from the militants against him.
