From Prison to Parliament, Prenga: I Will Attend Thursday’s Parliamentary Session

MP Armando Prenga shows no complexes. Despite the fact that Democratic Party choose to boycott the Parliamentary Committees meetings as protest against his presence, and his colleagues criticize him for his relation to the crime, lawmaker Prenga was not intimidated or forced to stand back from parliamentary life. After being arrested for his involvement in an armed conflict and later on condemned to mandatory appearance, lawmaker Prenga declared that he would continue his parliamentary life.

“I shall attend Thursday’s parliamentary session, and of course I shall be present during every meeting of the parliamentary committees. My presence in parliament is based on the citizens’ vote” said Prenga.

Prenga said that he was elected by the Lezha citizens, not by former-DP leader, Sali Berisha.
