Courts Paralyzed, Lawyers Three Days of Boycott

Lawyers begin on Wednesday a three-day strike boycotting all the trials. This drastic action was taken by the Lawyers’ National Room as a sign of protest against the new law for “Free” professions. New law increases the reference salary and the taxes that should be paid by the lawyers. No trial session shall take place next three days in every courthouse.

Lawyers reaction through a single-day boycott caused no reaction, thus the Lawyers National Room was forced to choose a three-day boycott. They also promised that will complain for the new law, on Constitutional Court, in order to abrogate Government’s decision.
