
Leaders of majority held a meeting on Friday evening to discuss about the National Bureau. At the meeting were Prime Minister, Edi Rama, Minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri the Minister of Economy, Arben Ahmetaj and the head of SP parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruci. Meanwhile from SMI were the leader, Ilir Meta, the head of SMI parliamentary Group, Petrit Vasili, the Chairman of the National Security Commission, Spartak Braho, and Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti.
Present were also the vice Parliamentary Speaker, Shpetim Idrizi. Fatmir Xhafaj, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Justice Reform, joined the meeting a little later. The meeting last two hours and the only one speaking was the Minister of Economy, Arben Ahmetaj, who said that they have discussed two topics, the IMF meeting on February 17th and the National Bureau of Investigation.
Asked about the dependency of the National Bureau of Investigation, the Prosecution General, if they would follow the Croatian or the Romanian model, Ahmetaj said they would wait for the Venice Commission decision.
