Vice Chairman of DP Parliamentary Group, Eduard Halimi and Jorida Tabaku had a meeting on Tuesday with the Director for Western Europe, the Western Balkans and Turkey in European External Action Service (EEAC), Angelina Eichhorst. 

Judicial reform was the main topic of their discussions. According to DP's press statement, Halimi informed the EU Official about the opinion of DP on judicial reform. "DP requests a consensual draft of judicial reform, but this was impossible because the majority applied a unilateral process which was addressed to Venice Commission," said Halimi.

Meanwhile, Eichhorst considered the realization of the judicial reform a key priority for the Albanian path towards EU in order to gain European support on this process. She said that all parties should collaborate together on this process, as they did with the Decriminalization Law.
