Judicial Reform, Basha: Rama's the Only Obstacle

Judicial reform has not reached a consensus yet. Despite the commitment of American Ambassador, Donald Lu, other diplomats and Heads of the State, the political parties have not reached an agreement yet.  The Leader of the Opposition, Lulzim Basha said on Monday that the only responsible of this failure is the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.

According to him, Rama wants to instruct all the Prosecutors or Judges on their decisions.

"For more than a year, Edi Rama has been the real obstacle of the judicial reform," said Basha. He added that the Opposition is determined not to let Rama take over the reins of the Albanian Judicial system. Sasha added further that DP will not submit a parallel draft, different from that of "Venice Commission” on this important reform.
