President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani granted his consent on the Law of amnesty from which is expected to be liberated 720 persons who are currently suffering their punishment in prison. Nishani decreed on Wednesday the Law which was voted by the Parliament in December.
This Law was voted with a large consensus in the Parliamentary session of December 29. It passed with 110 votes and the Parliament decided to grant amnesty to some prisoners who are imprisoned on the charges of electric energy theft, fines or other alternative penalties.
