The Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj is under investigation even by Tirana's Prosecution. The said investigation is being made parallel to the investigation of Prosecution of Serious Crime on tenders and concessions issued by the Ministry of Health, which is another investigation on same actions of the Minister investigated in the meantime by Tirana's Prosecution.

Three "concession agreements" are under investigation on which the Prosecution of Serious Crimes are working. Meanwhile Tirana's  Prosecution is investigating the pharmaceutical drugs tender made by the said Public Institution. The State Supreme Audit has given information after some of the controls conducted, informing that a group of Directors in the said Ministry favor some of the companies on the pharmaceutical drugs tender violating equality terms in the tender process.
