“Six-Month Law for Opening-Up Communist Era Secret Files, Nothing's Been Done”

For six month now Albania has a Law which allows the opening-up of communist era police secret files, but despite this, nothing has been done so far.

This concern comes from the Head of the "Institute for the Integration of the Former Political Persecuted" (IFPP), Bilal Kola. He said that this process has started too late. It should have started months ago. Referring to Kola, the Law has not been realized yet because one month after the voting of this Law, should have been raised an Authority which duty would be to manage the said files and this duty has not been performed yet.
