Thousand of prisoners will leave prison before Christmas. According to the new Law of the Ministry of Justice, some of these prisoners will profit from the amnesty. The new draft Law which is expected to be voted next week in the Parliament, gives amnesty to the sentenced persons who should remain in prison to jail up to two years or those who are actually in jail due to a penalty fine and the court gives to this category an alternative sentence.
From this new law profits even those persons who have suffered years of prison sentences and have spent only two years in prison. Nevertheless, from this law cannot profit those who are punished for crimes against humanity, crimes against human life or crimes of sexual assaults.
