Homage at “Saint Paul's” Cathedral in Honor of Monsignor, Rrok Mirdita

Honorific homages were held at the funeral ceremony of  Monsignor Rrok Miredita at "St.Paul's” Cathedral of Tirana, who passed away on December 7. It was the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Durres which informed the public, that its Shepherd, His Excellency Monsignor Rrok Mirdita passed away at Mother Teresa Hospital of Tirana because of cerebral hemorrhage. 

At the Homage Ceremony participated even the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, who left a message in his memory, the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj and Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj. Later on at the Homage ceremony will  also be present the President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani.

Monsignor Mirdita had a Cerebrovascular Insult on December 4, 2015. Nevertheless the surgical intervention and the intensive care therapy at the Neurosurgery section, he did not come out of the coma. Despite the treatments and efforts of the staff of the Neurosurgery section, his situation deteriorated and he did not survive.
