Some 1.6 Tons of Drugs Seized in Bari, Two Police Officers Detained in Durres Port

Some 1.6 tons of marijuana was seized in Bari, loaded on a truck that had left from Albania. Immediately, the controls started in Durres port, where police informed on Thursday morning that two police officers from the scan company “Rapidscan” were stopped for being  responsible of letting the drug pass through this port.

Official sources from Police, confirm that Fatjon Trezhnjeva, 28 years old and Edmond Hysko, 42 did not give any signalization even though during the scanning process they saw that on the truck there were two types of burdens.Durres police in collaboration with prosecution have started investigations to identify any other person involved in the drug trafficking.
