Some 1 ton of cannabis sativa were seized on Sunday evening at the Durres Port. The drug was hidden in a truck holding the plate number TR 8201 R. State police informed that the truck was full of firewood and inside them the perpetrator had hidden the narcotics.
The truck was loaded in Bushat village of Shkodra and its destination was Milano, Italy. Police arrested immediately the driver of the truck, Ervin Pellumbi, 36 years old and the owner of the truck, Albert Doku, 51 years old and another citizen Gani Bushati 51 years old.
