One year from the Government's action against the energy theft, the Head of the Electric Energy Distribution System Operator (OSHEE), Ardian Cela, said that thanks to the actions and the investment in this network OSHEE should not be considered a budget burden anymore. “The collection of the debt and reduction of losses followed a steady improvement of economic and financial indicators to the company. The said company in 2013 registered only losses but this year is expected a positive outcome of Lek 10 billion. 

Today the company is not a burden of the state budget, but gives a 3% contribution to Customs and Taxation revenues,” said Cela. According to Cela the loss of 40 % of the previous two years has been reduced to the level of 25% during the month of September when the action was launched.
