Deputy Prime Minister, Niko Peleshi called on Friday to all Local Administrative Units to apply the garbage fees. According to him the garbage fee should be paid from all the citizens and no one should be treated politically.
“The rate for urban waste should not be treated politically, on one side or the other, in an attempt to gain sympathy or a handful of votes. Moreover, Municipal Councils often do strive against setting or changing the fee,” said Peleshi.
He added that the government will provide financial assistance to Local Units in order to manage the situation of the urban waste.
