DP Accuses Government for Taking No Action on Floods in Southern Albania

Democratic Party accused Government that they are neglecting the floods in Southern Albania. General Secretary of DP, who's in the meantime MP of this political force, Arben Ristani, said on Tuesday that the opposition will ask account to Government of what the latter has done to help the citizens affected from floods and also about the damages compensation caused by the floods.

“People are suffering from floods and such a situation has never been so dramatic during the last 20 years.

This government has done nothing, or better what is being done until now is to leave the citizens in complete blackout, without electricity, moreover pumping stations are all out of function. Citizens are in God's hands because the Government and Rama do not think of the people who are living in misery. I call on all the citizens to demand their rights and to make present all the damages. The government should compensate them,” said Ristani.
