CEZ Scandal, Rama Requests FBI’s Assistance

The Prime Minister, Edi Rama reacted on Thursday due to the so called CEZ scandal. As the current Minister of Energy and Industry, Damian Gjiknuri accused the former governance of the situation created and the privatization of CEZ. According to Rama, the privatization process has changed four times in a year, creating the possibility of corruptive affairs. 

He informed that personally he has asked for help to FBI on this case, further adding that he hopes that Prosecution will realize a rapid investigation. "We support the Prosecution on these investigative proceedings and we want to involve on this case the international investigators as well. We requested support of FBI and hope they will send a positive answer," said Rama.
