State Police in collaboration with the Energy Distribution Operator continued the operations against illegal electricity connections all over the country. According to the last information, until the 4th of October they have realised 4,243 controls and have discovered 23 illegal electricity connections.
Meanwhile police informed that they arrested ten persons after they were caught red-handed stealing electric power and ten were declared wanted allegedly charged with the same offence.Police authorities added that during these operations, they disconnected 1,549 illegal electricity connections.
