Action against informality has gathered together Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Interior Affairs and the General Prosecution in the fight against informality. “The institutional agreement’s aim is to make more fruitful the operation which started in September 1. This Memorandum will bolster up this action in order to arrive to the big tax evaders, because it is “the first time in 20 years that the financial crime is being hit,” said the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.  

The Minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri during his speech stated that it is needed a platform of cooperation between the institutions. “We will cooperate together in the fight against economic crime and we will push forward the investigations on the financial crime. All institutions shall be involved against tax evasion, smuggling and all kind of economic crimes,” ended the Minister of Interior Affairs, Tahiri.
