Albania Votes in Favor of the Palestine Flag at the UN

Albania has voted in favor of the recognition of the Palestine flag at the UN. The UN General Assembly voted with 119 votes in favor, 8 against and 45 abstained. The resolution was presented by some EU countries and the Arab League. Among the countries that voted in favor is Albania, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Sweden and many others. Among the countries that voted against are the USA, Canada, Australia and Israel. Among the countries that abstained are Germany, the UK and almost every other EU country. Sources from the Foreign Ministry said that the voting was only for having the flag of Palestine at the UN, not for having it as a member country.
